These reports, prepared by the School of Tank Technology, summarise the examinations of captured German tanks by experienced officers. Their findings provided valuable information for the fighting troops during WWII. The notes include identification marks, general conditions of the vehicles, weapons, and ammunition carried. There are details of escape hatches, vision devices, and full findings of armour thickness. Included are notes on the suspension and tracks, engine, gearbox and transmission, steering and assessments of the overall vulnerability of the tanks. As a bonus there is an additional report covering in more detail the development of the PzKw III and IV tanks.
